Use postal codes as a filter
Postal codes help compare neighborhoods, logistics, services and documentation in a more organized way.
| Area | Reference postal code | Urban profile | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Central | 34000 | Historic and heritage core | Neighborhood, street number and property restrictions |
| North | 34120–34139 | Residential neighborhoods and services | Exact code, boundaries and available utilities |
| South | 34200–34239 | Urban expansion and larger lots |
Confirm exact location
Always verify the property address and service availability directly, not only by postal code.
Confirm the postal code against the address and filing purpose
Search for the settlement and street in the official catalog, then compare the municipality, state and zone. The same name may repeat, and postal boundaries do not always match commercial neighborhood names. Keep the consultation date and exact record used.
For an agreement, invoice, shipment or deed, ask which address evidence the institution accepts and copy the address from that source. Do not alter a document to force a match. When tax, utility and deed records differ, identify which source needs correction and request confirmation from the responsible entity.
